Breathe Well workshop with Scott Townsend
Discover how your breathing influences your direct experience of life from moment to moment.
Feel how your brain, your heart, and your body are affected by your breath. Learn to switch from ‘auto-pilot’ to ‘conscious-pilot’ with your breath at any moment and change your mental, emotional, or physical state.
This workshop is for you if you’d like to: • Reduce stress and anxiety • Increase awareness, focus, and clarity on an aspect of your life • Boost your health and happiness • Increase your energy, performance, and recovery • Sleep better
You will learn: • 10+ Different breathing exercises and mindful exercises • How to change your point of view to a ‘glass half-full’, rather than ‘half-empty’ in a few breaths • How breathing influences your heart, your cardiovascular system, your nervous system, and your immune system • Simple tools and concepts that you will have with you for the rest of your life, right under your nose • Everything is backed by solid science, it’s simple and effective. There’s nothing herbal, pseudo or ‘woo-woo’ involved.

Yoga flow, inversion & yin workshop
Join us to explore and get comfortable with common postures people are challenged by in the Ashtanga yoga primary series. These poses test our internal strength, flexibility and love of yoga. We will focus on the closing sequence with inversions, and have an opportunity to practice Sirsasana (headstand) and Urdvha Padmasana (upward lotus pose), however all poses have options for variations. After a short break and a healthy treat we complete the workshop with a restorative Yin Yoga session.

Outdoor yoga - special summer sessions
Through summer we offer outdoor yoga sessions. These sessions are suitable for all levels.
The one hour 15 min yoga session will include breath work (pranayama), meditation, gentle poses, Sun Salutations with the rising sun, and moving with the breath. We finish with herbal tea and a chat. Bring your yoga mat, a towel to go under it, and something warm to start off with as it may be a little cool.
Summer dates through January & February - TBC $30 per session Please note: if raining, class will be held indoors. Booking for this is essential as we have limited spaces.
We have a no refund policy on workshops. These are one off events with limited spaces. When you buy your ticket this reserves your place in the workshop and inhibits others from booking in. If you can no longer attend you are welcome to sell/pass on your place to a friend. Please let us know if you do this so we can amend the booking details.
